This is the original "lusekofte," knitted in 100% Norwegian wool, with Norwegian-made pewter clasps and woven bands, identical to the original design. The wool sweater features the well-known "luse" pattern and traditional crosses, which were originally knitted in to protect against evil spirits.
The Setesdal sweater in the beige colorway (M00) is made from 100% premium undyed lightweight wool, utilizing the natural colors of the animal fiber with unique shades ranging from darker to lighter tones. This approach not only highlights the beauty of the wool in its most authentic form but also preserves its natural qualities by eliminating the dyeing process, resulting in a garment that is as natural as it is stylish.
The Setesdal sweater in off white and black colorways (A and F) are made of 100% Norwegian wool, which is known for its warmth, breathability, and durability.
