The 3.5 ounce container of Hikari Bio-Pure Frozen Okanagan Lake Freshwater Mysis Shrimp is a high quality daily food for freshwater and marine fish species such as American cichlids, marine angels, grouper and stingray. The highly nutritious mysis relicta shrimp are harvested directly from the ancient glacier fed Okanagan Lake, and contains high levels of beneficial linolenic acid, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, arachidonic acid, natural color enhancers, EPA and DHA as well. The outer shell of the all natural cubes provide natural chitosan, a sugar found in shellfish which is quite beneficial to a wide variety of fish. Additionally, the food contains high levels of planktonic algae with a flavour that drives fish wild and is sizable enough for large fish to rip and tear at the food as they would in their natural habitats.
